Nebraska Homeschool Legal Requirements
Homeschooling is regulated at the state level and changes may be made to the relevant statutes at any time. Homeschool Legal Advantage (HLA)
HLA is an outreach of the Christian Law Association. The CLA has faithfully served churches and families since 1969, and has successfully defended over 8,000 educational freedom related cases. Today, the Homeschool Legal Advantage team includes a large group of full-time attorneys and an additional 200+ affiliated attorneys throughout the United States. Homeschooling in Nevada
From the Nevada Department of Education. Nevada law (NRS 392.070) provides for a waiver of the compulsory attendance laws and procedures for parents/guardians to follow in pursuing the waiver.
Exempt (Home) Schools Programs
From the Nebraska Department of Education. Parents (or guardians) may educate their child at home by electing not to meet State approval or accreditation requirements (Section 79-1601 R.R.S.). In Nebraska, "home schools" are referred to as exempt schools and are considered non-approved or non-accredited schools. By filing for and receiving exempt status, parents are electing not to have their child attend a school that meets State approval and accreditation requirements while also complying with the compulsory school attendance law (Section 79-201 R.R.S.).

Fremont Area Christian Homeschoolers
F.A.C.H. Co-op. A Christian homeschool group, although anyone may participate.
Every participating family is significant, our goal is to support, encourage, and enhance them in their homeschooling endeavor. All families involved with the group are encouraged to help with a minimum of two activities per year with the exception of first year homeschoolers and famillies with newborns (or new members.)

Western Nebraska Home Educators Network Cooperative
The Western Nebraska Home Educators Network Cooperative is held on Mondays at the Bethel Baptist Church. We offer a nine-week fall and spring cooperative along with a six week summer cooperative. One make-up day per semester is scheduled in case we have to cancel classes due to weather, funerals or other unforeseen reasons. All homeschooling families are welcome to attend.

Crew 26 is chartered by The Gardener Home School Association. Crew 26 offers a high adventure based program yet supports members in all areas of Venturing: Outdoors, Sports, Arts & Hobbies, and Religious Life.
