The Lotus Seed - Activities and web resources developed as part of the Schools of California Online Resources for Educators (SCORE) Project, funded by the California Technology Assistance Program (CTAP). This supplemental unit provides resources for students in second grade to focus on concepts of their own family heritage, and develop an appreciation of the customs of another country. Students will differentiate between those things that happened long ago and yesterday. Grade 2 (Y)
